LEARNING OUTCOME

Students who graduate from this program should be able to:

  1. Properly work independently in secondary school and life science laboratories
  2. Collect, preserve and transport samples, perform standard laboratory test and interpret the results generated:
  3. Properly generate, store and use laboratory information;
  4. Interpret regulation related to maintenance of laboratory environment and safety;
  5. Design and conduct simple experiments and analyse results.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Advanced level Certificate with passes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. One of these subjects must be passed at Principal level with a total of Two points (E grade). Candidates with Advanced Level passes in combinations without Biology must have passed Biology at credit level in CSEE OR Basic Technician Certif- icate from recognized institution OR Certificate of Secondary Education with passes in Biology and Chemistry and Trade test Certificate of at least grade II.
